FREUDIAN DREAM

Kate Moss in the iconic sweater in 2003
BELLA Freud's iconic Ginsberg is God sweater is making a comeback this month to celebrate the launch of the designer's photographic exhibition, "Journey to the end of the night", at 19 Bruton Place. The exhibition, on from October 29, is a collaboration between Freud and supermodel and artist Elle Muliarchyk, a joint venture that came to pass after Freud saw Elle's "guerilla photography" (self-portraits of the supermodel in changing rooms in designer outfits but with strange props). The photographs, of Elle dressed in some of Freud's sweaters and knit dresses from her autumn/winter 07 collection, have been taken in some of the models favourite places in London. To mark the occasion, 150 of the Ginsberg is God sweaters made famous by Kate Moss in 2003, will be on sale at both 19 Bruton Place and Dover Street Market (£200). A cult item among the fashion and literary set, the sweater will no doubt make a similar statement this time around. If you don't want to miss out, make sure you are one of the first to Dover Street Market next week.
